Liveblog: Or lack thereof…

Sorry Madridistas, I didn’t have a liveblog on the Espanyol match last night because England played South Africa in the Rugby World Cup finals, and that’s what me and my mates were watching… I also had friends from Toronto visiting, and they wanted to experience the English sporting culture, so the liveblog wouldn’t have been possible either way.
It’s probably a good thing anyways, seeing as how Madrid lost to Espanyol 2-1, with Riera and Tamudo making Corey appear rather psychic. Also good for us was that Barcelona lost to Villarreal, leaving us still top of the table, though with a narrow 1 point margin over Villarreal and Valencia. Barcelona is 2 points back and Espanyol is 3 points back.
I’m sure Corey will post a good recap so stay tuned…

I didn’t feel of posting anything on my Real Madrid blog during the match either, Steve. It was really frustrating to report that we are losing, so I just did a semi-review and blamed Schuster.
