A B for Higuaina t best. Ronaldo came back, which is a plus.

As much as it goes against Madrid style, I think the 85+ minute substitutions are to waste out the clock. Junaid, those Benzema goggles must be pretty thick if you belive Higuain is playing poorly and Benzema has been the shining star in this Madrid team. I havn’t seen anybody so biased toward one player in a long time.

You have a reading comprehension problem. I rated Higuain a B. Then I said Ronaldo will come back. No where in that post did I even mention Karim.
So, run along now and play with your dolls.

Nicely written review Bassam, put it up on the Facebook page as well.
I have a feeling Benzema is very very close to his goal scoring form, not because of this match, but because Benz is quality and is showing signs of improvement, his increasing understanding with Pipita is a big plus for us, give Pipita and Benz a few more matches and they will make an awesome pairing.
Kaka is slowly settling in as well, in pre-season, I thought Kaka would be set before CR, but the opposite happened.
And Corey can I write something for your blog as well? If you need a few examples of my work, there is always my blog.

Did you guys wonder about the poor performance on corners during this match, apparantly there were 14 in total, but that pales into insignificance compared to the stat I’ve just read – 2 goals from 111 corners!!
Barsa on the other hand have scored 6, which doesn’t bode well on our set piece defending, which although still hairy has improved I thinkPosted from

YES lambomba forgot to mention that, I woner if do any work on set pieces in training, we never seem to score from corners, even though Marcelo did hit the post against Zurich.

I read the pelligrini was not going to start pipita and put Benz on the attack for the clasico. I have nothing against Benz, but pipitas form of late has been much better than his french counterpart. I would def use our Argentine striker to try to break through barcas defensive line (and more importantly, valdezs net)

na Christian don’t worry, Pelligrini has made some bad decision’s with us this season, but he won’t leave Higuain out because that would just be crazy. I wanna know what formation you lot think we will play?? because Man u tried a 3 man midfield and got fucked..

If pellegrini starts raul ahead of either pipita or benz in the clasico he should be hanged but I don’t think that will happen since he gave raul 70 something minutes this midweek
With that said I think we should play with 4 5 1Marcelo alonso diarra ronaldo
Kaka
Pipita/benzPipita alonso diarra ronaldo
Kaka
Benz
Yup I have pipita as a right winger in my second midfield because of his pace and work rate and we all know he could play there anywaysPosted from

Its a fair enough preview Corey. Happy thanksgiving. I don’t still understand this festival
but ill wish you anyways
Barcelona are a great team. We have to slog it out at this moment to come away with something. I just love the Clasico and the football fever associated with it even though I am really far away from Spain. Here’s to a great Clasico! Hala Madrid!!

Toure has swine flu and wil probably be absent.I hope the players(esp Garay and Arbeloa)do not lose their concentration during the match and we atleast get 1point.

Cyruff is really a twat, I really don’t like reading his interviews, I always skip them!
“Ive lamented the lack of chance creation for the strikers before, and it hurts Raul the most in terms of his performance.” — It’s all because of Lass (or Pellegrini if you don’t like him benching Raul, that’s what Marca are doing), if Lass knew his position and sat back and left the creation work for Xabi Alonso, we won’t have any trouble at all! And to make it clear I <3 Lass for his work rate but that guy is seriously not good in attacking!
I have a feeling Cristiano will start, he was saying he has a feeling he will score 10 to 20 goals against them!

There are many non-Spanish people in this world who hate Catalans. Feel free to join them…

Haha fernando so true
Seems like like everyone and their mamas have written us off in this week end showdown , people are already talking about another 6 – 2 in the dirty cules favor , when has barcelona “fans” become so arrogant ? Funny what a little bit of success could do a team and its followers , its mostly the glory hunters that are talking shit though
With that said they’re favorite this week end , because A ) we’re playing away from home , B) we haven’t fully gelled yet and they have since they’ve been playing together for years ,
But if we play anywhere close to our potential we could go back home with the 3 pts

I also suggested on the previous post that we should play with 5 midfielders in a 4 5 1 or withdraw higuain to the right hand side of the midfield that way we should be able to win the possession battle

I really don’t think we should leave Xabi and Lass on their own, unless Kaka tracks back well otherwise they will rip us apart. Ronaldo will start i’m sure of it, hopefully Iker will play jut like he did last year in this fixture.
They have a right to Andres atm, if we win la liga and champions league this year, i’m sure especially you would have some bragging to do over in their blog
