Adidas Video On Kaka
By: Corey | October 21st, 2009I got an email the other day from an employee of Adidas’ marketing team with a recently launched video and graphic novel about Kaka. Its an interesting video that ties in to a marketing campaign about the “Ultimate Search” which portrays former Madridista Zinedine Zidane looking for the best players on Earth. Zidane as a cartoon gives us a little background story on ‘The Maestro” Kaka, and then witnesses him playing. The artwork is pretty cool, and if your a big fan of Adidas gear, especially those red ADIPURE boots that Kaka wears, you might want to check out the video below. The graphic novel is located here, and you can check that out too.

First off, that video is pretty awesome! Do they have more videos like that? Very unique and very cool!
Secondly, about the game yesterday, it was very disappointing. Defense has been, still is, and may very well continue to be our undoing in recent campaigns. We probably would’ve been better off spending some of that money on defenders but alas we have to do make do with what we have. I think it is still possible for us to regroup and live up to all the expectations that are on us. If not this season perhaps the next one. But definitely would be great to happen this season for sure.
Whatever the outcome is I stand by the team no matter what. My mother was from Spain, both sides of her family from Madrid, and she raised me with stories about Los Blancos and the 5 consecutive European Cups in the 50’s and DiStefano and Puskas. From childhood I was raised a Madridsta in club play and a die hard Spanish supporter in International play. Earlier this year my beloved mother passed away and since then I admit the wins and losses mean even more to me than ever (and they always meant alot obviously). But I have hope yet they can go all the way and be the first to claim 10 European championships. Hala Madrid Por Siempre!

Today when I was playing fifa10 I transferred marcelo to barca! Wish we could do that in real life , transfer him there and put a clause in his contract that says he has to start every game for them
Anyways I’m still not over yesterday’s loss , we could have should have won that game or at least drawn it but as Kxevin pointed out key players were uncharacteristicly bad , shit happens I guess
I’m gonna say something though I said over and over again but I’m gonna repeat although lass played a good game defensively he cramps xabi’s style and kaka’s ( who was doo doo yesterday it has to be said ) also because he is always moving into their spaces clogging everything up you’re a DM dude stay deep win balls and let alonso organize you might have the number but you’re not zidane for god’s sake mahamadou has to start if we want our midfield to dominate play the way we expect
With that said it was lass’s fault we lost yesterday but I’m just saying with him in midfield we won control the game as we like feel free to disagree with me but that’s my 2 cents
Higuain’s injury was unfortunate this game was calling for him especially in the second half
I’m starting to think that madrid’s medics don’t know what the hell they’re doing , so many players getting every week why ? I don’t believe its bad luck its bad regimeMaybe we should hire Zizou as our chief medic

O and speaking of you zizou do you still not miss ronaldo?Posted from

O and as for the defense being bad I don’t think our defender are bad individually actually I think that they’re very good save for marcelo of course , organization is the problem and the holding thinking he is maradona does not help either
Texanspaniard sorry to hear about that , keep your head up and welcome

Andres, as long as you have to keep Sergio Ramos until the end of his career and he is forced to start each match, I’m fine with the deal

dam Texanspaniard bad news man, tell the team that might inspire them.
nope lolz Andres, i guess i have always been pissed of when watching him for Man u because i used to get anoyed that everyone was saying how amazing Ronaldo was when he just hogged the ball all the time, but now i’m realising how important someone like him is to a team needing to break down defensive temas, however he is still a diving cheating prick, who moans when he gets subbed if he hasn’t scored and hope he takes all his 3 weeks to get better.

Helge that’s a deal I’m willing to accept ! In one condition though you have to bring laporta to us realmadrid offsiders so we could take turn in slapping the shit out of him , deal ? Deal!
Lol seriously though Ramos might be going throught a bad period in his career but when in form he is one of the best in his position so I’m going to dhl to ship marcelo to you now , the tracking number of the box hell be in is 4372901770
Zizou you know that deep inside you want him to recover as soon as possible someone told me you got posters of him in your bedroom , you can admit it I promise I won’t tell anyone
O and you got fifa10 right ? What’s your online ID I wanna invite you for a match

About the goal differential thing…overall goal differential doesn’t decide who’s 1st and who’s 2nd, the primary decisive factor is the goal differential in the two games between the teams in question…then, if that’s a draw, goal differential steps in. You can check that at the uefa official site, I’m sorry I’m too lazy to look up the rule myself. So, for the record, Milan is first in the group at this point. Also, in the case of a draw at San Siro Milan would still be first which is why Real may need to win over there to secure the first spot.

Actually, I found it myself.

All i’m gonna say is this…closing the comments yesterday made you look like you couldn’t handle the loss nor the post game banter that was going on.
Notice i’m not saying that you couldn’t…but it can appear that way as this wa the glamour match of the knockout round and there was/is a lot to talk about.
Your blog do as you please…but if Gianfranco pulled that on the Milan Blog…i´d be letting him hear about it win or loss.
U guyz still have the return leg to set things straight, and re still on top of the group.

dam Andres how you know that from america?, but i’m guessing that someone didn’t tell you i’m a semi- professional darts player, and the others players are spread around the room but Ronaldo is right in the middle, and has around 528 darts holes in it
And you got xbox then? thought you had ps3. I also don’t like 10 tbh, dunno what it is prefer 09, i’ll still give ya a game though, should be easy.

Trying desperately to think of positives……
I think Madrid play a tad better away from home as the pressure of the Bernabeu is at times palpable. If the goals aren’t coming and the play is rough, the crowd start to jeer, so maybe playing away at Milan could be winnable.
Andrés, Lass won’t play this Sat due to family problems so we might get to see Alonso afforded a little more space.
I like many are doubting Pellegrini, on three main counts, his tactical nouse, his ability to select and change players and his physical training team ( as Zizou said the injury situ is a joke, they’re pulling muscles getting out of their car!). Look how Valladolid clipped Sevilla’s wings last week. The only guy with young legs yesterday was Pato, so why not get him man marked, or zone marked or anything except totally blanked!Posted from

Haha Zizou that was a good come back
And no I don’t have an xbox I got a ps3 which makes you lucky cuz had we played I woulda trashed you
Labomba that’s great news , not because he has family issues but because he won’t play , but knowing pellegrini he won’t play mahamadou anyways
And I agree with you about the bernabeu pressure its a burden but you can’t really blame the fans as sometime I find myself cursing some of our players , like casillas when he kept giving posession to milan over and over again by kicking the ball straight to milan players in midfield instead of passing to pepe or albiol so that they can calmly restart play moments like that pisses fans off I think one of them shouted at him from the standsJovan I didn’t know that they used head to head to determine who is first and second thanx for that

Going crazy yesterday on the blog eh? i was spectating as shit was going down, but just like zizou, didn’t participate
Now for a civilized showing of opinion:
As many said, Casillas was bad yesterday, but i dont think that is something we should be thinking about. He is good 95 games out of a 100 game, and i think thats good enough. We should be addressing the recurring problems.
1st: as much as his contributions upfront are valuable, and they do pose a great threat to other teams, marcelo is playing with fire, and apparently doing a great job to still be in the first team line up. There is a difference between a left back and a left winger, and right now, i feel we have a left winger in the left back position. If that is true, then you cant blame him for the positioning problems he is having. Unfortunately, that is not the case, he is a left back, and is required to be much better at marking.
As mentioned by James above, we are playing attacking football, and we know we have defensive problems, so why not just play Arebeloa on the left! He is much much much better than Marcelo defensively and positioning wise. This has been a problem for several weeks and is really getting frustrating to see this guy play soo poorly. Start with Arbeloa, if we are tied or losing, then substitute him for Marcelo and that would be perfect for an impact from the left.
If Arbeloa isn’t going to get his chance in the left back position, then at least play drenthe! IMO much better than Marcelo defensively.
2nd: I agree with james again, the defensive line is playing too high upfront, especially against a player like pato who is fast.w we are pushing up with both left back and right back. Our defensive line is as high as the middle of the field if not higher. This is all causing a big congestion in attack. Alonso is a player that needs space. He plays best when is dictating play from the back and moving the ball around. This high defensive line and the congestion in attack from both full backs going fully forward is hampering his play.
3rd: im really surprised that Higuain didn’t start. Does anyone have a clue why?
4th: I hope Pelligrini notices these problems before its too late.
Hala Madrid!

Bassam its because we are cool you see, and Higuain was injured in warm ups, Raul is deserving his place in starting 11 anyways. But i guess he would have still come on.

A joke indeed at this rate we won’t be able 11 players in some games
Zizou that sounds good go borrow your friend’s ps3 so I can show you who is the king
Bassam PES ruled until 2008 then fifa stepped their game up , I used to not like fifa at all until that year and right now its the other way around PES is unplayable to me , its not real enough fifa on the other makes you feel like you’re on the field!
