Castilla Update

By: Corey | January 6th, 2009

Real Madrid Castilla went into the winter break in a bad moment, not winning for a few games, and falling to 4th place in the table after being unbeaten for most of the first half of the season. Real Madrid Castilla notched their first victory of 2009 with a 2-0 win against Pájara Playas de Jandía thanks to goals by Szalai and Bueno. A great start to the second half of the campaign for the Castilla lads, who welcomed back Bueno from first team duty and saw the debut of Javier Acuna, who made the switch from Cadiz in much the same manner that Hunter did, signing before the window opened so that he could make his debut right away. He looked good on the wing according to reports, so lets hope he continues to impress this year.

It’s good to know that we have a wonderful youth side, much more now that we have a coach that look up on them!
