Higuain is an unquestionable player at the moment, he’s proven to feel the colours and shows great improvement season after season, i don’t think Pellegrini is going to sacrifice the argentinian for a 21 year old striker that needs to work hard to aspìre to take the position, that is if the team cannot play with two strikers, at this point id like to think that Raul will start off the bench. If you come to think about it…Villa is 27 and at his peak….signing a 21 year old benzema with a vast margin of imrprovement for 35 million is a good deal in my book.

Ribery has it all, decision taking, speed, pass its always ideal to have him since he can play on the wing like in bayern or in any case kaka or our attacking midfielder is injured, ribery is sure to take over by himself. Van Gaal is interested in the dutch pack and in the case the transaction takes place, im sure sneider and robben or van der vaart would be included in the operation, no need to worry about it.

I agree that our priority is to sign a defensive midfielder to accompany Lass, alonso is ideal….arbeloa would also help and Ramos could start the season playing as a centerback until pepe can line up with albiol. Forget the left wing, Torres has experience and he did a fine job in the Capello days, we cannot aspire to have 11 galacticos! and we can always sub marcelo or ramos if arbeloa makes it here or whomever.

I say go for ribery, just think of our wing speed with him and CR on the opposite flank! yikes

Ok since Real want to buy Ribery, Xabi Alonso, and Arbeloa they are going to play with a 4-5-1 formation cuz if they are not to there is really no need in buying Xabi Alonso.

Benzema should be a good singging but incase he isnt they should really think of bringging in Pato. Pato is a great player and young, that is why I would like to see him at Real. I also think that they should keep Gago, Robben, Higuain, Marcelo, Diarra, and a few of there other players that could be a good call upon when a player is either tired or injurid. But they really should get rid of the dutch players, Guti, Raul, Heinza, and a few others. With that money they should try to get some real subs with enough tallent to replace the starters when there tired or injurid. I also thought that Real could make an offer for Calos Tevez. He would be a good striker up there by himself and then Benzema on the bench until he is ready to handle the presure. Don’t get me wrong I like Higuain but I think he might be better playing behind the striker providing that support because that was kinda his role last season. Real still need to spend money on a few positions but I think when they do they’ll be at the top of there game. HOPEFULY

Regarding your comment about needing time, Rami – that’s exactly what I’m worried about. With the amount Florentino is spending, it won’t just be a matter of fans’ expectations, it’ll be a matter of recouping investment. I’m wondering just how disastrous it will be when/if Real don’t win the CL. I’m worried that Perez is creating a situation where we can’t AFFORD time.

But great comment, and I totally agree about Palanca. I still don’t understand why after his promising performance he wasn’t given more chances last season. I attributed it to Ramos not having the balls to select him over Robben.

well i think guys that we all love Heguin,and we all would like hime to play every game….but lets face it,with benzima comming he will be the sole striker,unless he failed to impress in the few first matches then Pipita will get his chance,which i think he will take it to the fullest(and sadly shows perez that it was wrong to buy a striker for 35$ M,and set on the bench).
ok the rebiry issue,well may be we all appreciate what Robben did for us,but lets face it,he is really bad in his judgment in the field,and way to selfish in his playing methods,but on the other hand Rebiry…is way much better…i watched a few games for bayern last year when i heard he might come,and saw him really run havoc to all teams,he is way much better than robben in every aspect of the game,and the most important…not a tin man like robben….
we still need a central defender, left defender,and yes Xabi alonso….with Lass i think Xabi alonso will have the freedom to move and pass,and read the game .which he is really good at….
regarding Gago…i think he is really an average guy,whom get bullied in the midfield whenever Real face a fast team….he is really bad in defending anf very bad in reading the game….in total he is really over rated,and if real are smart they should cash on him now,cuz for sure if he stayed for next year,he will be sold with big loss…
the dutch also must go….the only exception should be snieder…cuz i think when he finds competition he will regain his game…
and please get 2 or 3 players from the cantera….specially Palanca….he is really,really good…for a guy to come and play that will in the first el-clasico….
finally they need time,give the coach time,even if it took him more time than they expect…..remember Capello..????
Heguin will win in this team and he will be the star,even when they play someone else at first…all wait and see..

we would need to have double pivot..one thing good about ribery over robben tho is that he does fall back and help in defense…(we need to clean up many players)..Pipita has to start every match come what may ..this will be big season for him…

John I hear you but what perez said is true no way we won’t be getting back the money we’ve spend so far in a couple of years we will never go bankrupt like valencia
Besides I don’t want us to spend 80 mil on ribery either I’m thinking more like 25 mil plus robben and vdv
