Fernando Hierro Was Great

I was thumbing through some Real videos recently and I noticed all the Fernando Hierro tributes, and I found this one to be the best. It really captured how great of a player he was, and that he was one of the best captains the club has ever had as well. And with this being the week before El Derbi, I thought what a better way to celebrate Madridismo spirit then with a little something covering one of our very owns awesome career. Enjoy the video!

  wow, great video, I have really good memories of Hierro, both as a Real Madrid player and with the Spanish national team.

  I think his only weakness was his lack of pace, but he made up with his positioning and tackling. I loved him when he played in midfield, and he had a cannon on his right foot!!!

  He’s one of my favorite players of the last 15 years; but my favorite player ever, is another Fernando, The Prince, Redondo

  man that really took me down memory lane. the real of hierro, sanchis, redondo etc. were the real of my childhood. and agreed with Cesar, Redondo is my favorite ever - pure class.

  super video. wats d song???? el gran capitan is one of the greatest ever to have pulled on the white shirt.absolutely loved d guy. it was his treatment along with the selling of makelele that causes me to hate florentino perez. we gotta treat our own better. by that , i don’t mean turning into a pensioners club like AC millan but situations like the one with roberto carlos shouldn’t happen. i would take roberto over marcelo and heinze anyday. even nowadays he plays better than the two idiots we got as LBs. but going back 2 d topic on hand , hierro is and shall forever be a legend for us. btw since u have done a piece on el gran capitan , why not do one of those all time greatest pieces , corey ???

  All time greatest as in the best players the club has ever had realrock? If so, thats a good idea and I will work on that after the Derbi, I have a bunch of stuff lined for that I will do first.
