Lifes Tough for Real Players
By: Corey | July 15th, 2008Man, it must be terrible to have to return to your day job after a generous 45 day vacation! I almost feel bad for the Real players, who started there training regiment in the Algarve today. I have a few pictures so that you can feel pitty for them as they lift weights and jog, something I do everyday in a dingy gym and in my boring, suburban neighborhood. Sarcasm of course.

Javi Garcia is a Giant!

“I Hope My Brittle Arms Dont Break….”

Real will be in Portugal for a week, doing alot of these things, which is nice for them, but its down right depressing for me as I sit at my desk looking at spreadsheets of Warehouse Spend Analysis and Global Fuel Rebates. Oh well, we are that much closer to the league season folks! Hala Madrid Baby!

haha - I’m also doing the same thing, spend analysis! I’m a new Real Madrid fan, and I really enjoy your posts. I also noticed the photos have the Real Madrid logo - do you know how I can contact the offical Real Madrid website, so I can sign up to view their photos? I tried registering but it doesn’t seem to work. Thanks!

Astoria- Welcome, and thanks for the compliments. These photos were taken right from there website, and as you see are clearly copyrighted for the Offside’s protection (Daryl got on me for that). I think what your referring to is the Fan Zone, which is where you can see more content then whats on the surface of the website. If you want to sign up, Real wants you to be a member of the club, which I will assume you are not. There is a way around that Im sure but I have not looked into it. I need to spruce up on my Spanish so I can read all the fine print. Ill look into it for you though.

Corey - thanks for your offer! Yes, I am referring to their FanZone, where they do offer 2 options: one for members and one for non-members. I assume you’re a member then? When I tried registering for non-members, the link didn’t work (it took me back to the previous page), so I was just wondering if there’s an email or something I can contact them with?
Also, if you don’t mind - what channel do you use to see their games? Is it GolTV? Thanks so much!

Astoria- I looked into the Fanzone Real has for non-members, and it looks like the link is broken for you to sign up on the English side of the website, but if you want, you can sign up on the Spanish side. http://www.realmadrid.com/cs/Satellite/es/RegistroUsuarios?action=registration. You will create a handle and a password to sign in with, then some personal information and an email address and you should be all set. I just signed up for it with no problem, just need to know some Spanish.
