Live Blog: Real vs. Sevilla

By: Corey | April 26th, 2009

Game time is 1pm eastern, 13:00 ET. Pop in early from some pre-match banter and a preview of the lineups for the match. Barca dropped points yesterday, so lets see if Real can capitalize on that little slip up and gain some ground with a win over Sevilla at the Sanchez Pijaun.

Great cross by metzelder. Now we just need to start playing better in the second half and finish this game off.

4 points the difference at the top of the table now. I must say that metzelder and torres done a great job at the back in defence. both of them having assists for Raul.

YES! I knew Metzelder was going to do great (as he did! oh my!) and what about RAUL??? hes a hero! also great finish by Marcelo on the 4th. My preferred part of the game? Rauls AWESOME almost 4th goal. I stand in awe. Corey im so happy i found this site, only place to find real football info, not like marcass.

    Welcome jamesmadrid!

I will do a review this evening of the match. It could “put all of my displeasure about Sevilla in to words” if you will?

    HALA MADRiD!!!!
We did it AGAIN !! To be honest before the game I didn’t think we were gonna be able to and they were playing us off the park in the first 25 minutes we barely touched the ball we could have been down by 3 goals by the 26th but after that we played much better and deserve this win IMO
Metzelder was the man not only was he a rock at the back but he also contributed a lot in attack , very nice to see
Sergio ramos was clowned all day and I still wonder why he didn’t boot the ball outta our box on their second goal
Torres was clowned too but only for 25 minutes after that he was a fucking wall
    Casillas is casillas

Diarra was great as well but he has the tendency to do a robben here and there
    Gago was ok
Higuain worked very hard and should have had a goal to his name
Guti was the man as well
Last but not least RAUL man of the match not only was he working very hard but he scored a hattrick too

Hala Madrid all! Great to see us win today, I was at beer olympics all day so I missed the match but will catch it on the replay tonight. This could get really interesting by the end of the campaign.

Beer olympics is a wonderful event where you play numerous drinking games in teams. Beer Fest is a great illustration of how a beer olympics works. Great to see you back Cesar, hope all is well in DC. Just finished my match review so check it out!

BEER OLYMPICS, LOL!!!!! That has to be one of the best posts of the year so far, great work James!!!, so are you going to watch the game tonight????

Corey, thanks man, I missed the game because I had to run some important errands, but I think it would be better if I don’t watch a live game till the end of the season, I don’t want to jinx this run!!!

    HALA MADRID!!!
