I mirror your sentiments Isaiah, as you were held to a draw by Bilbao last week even though they have been pretty awful this year. You will probably get a result against Osasuna, and the race will narrow a bit. But it is a strong arguement as to why La Liga is the best in the world, because Almeria beat us when we were on a hot streak. Any given sunday….

And Steve, Almeria looked like a more cultured Premier league team, they were so fast to move the ball, and they have a pretty big pitch to play it on so their game plan worked well. It shows our weakness, we play a very slow and technical way, and alot of pace can catch us off guard.

It’s strange, Corey… i’d agree with you, it didn’t really seem like we were playing that poorly, but we were definitely not ready to play at Almeria’s pace. That is unfortunate.

I didn’t see the match, but I think games like this, judging from the liveblog, show that La Liga is the best league on earth. Even a side like Madrid can be outplayed. That’s just how I see it, though.

Hopefully we (Barca) can take advantage of this slip up and narrow the gap to 6. I mean, just in the interest of making the league watchable the last few months, not for any other reason than that.

That was not the best performance in the world, but it was not terrible either. Negredo go the better of us, I knew he would, Canna just had an off day. Balboa looked real good though, glad to see him back.
