Madridismo
By: Corey | September 4th, 2007Okay, theres not much going on today. Just a couple of interviews to go over.
This song sucks, but the chorus gets stuck in your head and its like VD, it spreads to everyone. A Bay Bay, A Bay Bay, A Bay Bay…
First thing i want to discuss is my comments on Robinho and playing poorly. When I say he played poorly, I mean he didnt do enough with the ball. He can dribble his way through the whole Villareal defense (he pretty much did at one point), but he then does nothing with the ball. Someone like Sergio Ramos steamed up from the back (unchallenged to be fair) and put a ball right on RVN’s foot. Robinho did not do that. If he starts doing that then he will be great, he already is good, he just needs to have some more practicality to his play.
Schuster discussed the loss of De La Red and Javi Garcia and the loans of Granero and Adrian Gonzalez, as well as many other things in this interview that is worth taking a look at. http://www.realmadrid.com/articulo/rma42376.htm
Schuster is winning me over, his comments about Raul and Guti, the youth players, Capello, its all very frank and straight forward. Which I like, I hate Rafeal Benitez and his pre-planned answers that say nothing, so boring. The thing is, Schuster always refers to himself. Is he trying to convey that he has been there done that which is why he should have credibility when discussing these matters, or is it because he is full of himself? A little of both, but confidence from the coach breeds confidence from the players.
Next up is a little ditty from Miguel Torres: http://www.realmadrid.com/articulo/rma42379.htm
He wont give up and is going to work harder. Theres a Madrid boy for you, great stuff, keep it up Torres, you will be in the team again, Drenthe has got nothing on you. Wait, 4 LB’s? Shit, ok maybe you should try the right. Sergio Ramos and Michel Salgado you say, hmmm. Well you did start out as a center back. 3 internationals there too, damn.
16 Madridistas were called up for international duty. Yes, 16, or a little more then half the team. And to think that Guti, Raul and Robben werent called up, and Soldado too. So we have the possibility of atleast 20 internationals. Hooray for Balboa, he will be playing for the Equitoral Guinea in African Nations qualifier, make us proud.

Ay Bay Bay. Also, theres this: http://www.realmadrid.com/articulo/rma42359.htm
Im a business man myself, I check the stock market everyday and run the gaunlet on mutual funds and T-notes while I smoke cigars and wear a top hat, so I wont get to indepth with this. Main thing, Calderon is earning money, lots of it for Real.
Adios, dios mio.
