Official: De la Red Returns
By: Corey | April 8th, 2008
I woke up this morning and clicked on my AS bookmark in Firefox. There I saw this wonderful article http://www.as.com/futbol/articulo/futbol-madrid-repescara-red-45/dasftb/20080408dasdaiftb_40/Tes
Then I went to Marca so I could confirm it, two sources better then one. Nothing. Espnsoccernet, goal.com, hell even triball football? Nothing.
But its okay, because I believe it anyways, Ruben de la Red will be returning June 1st to Real Madrid! Everyone rejoice as one of our favorite Madrilenos will return to fight for the white shirt. It seems Ryan posted this early this morning, so we will give him his due credit. Ive got a test today so ill be busy studying, post away though!

Who knows what this actually means – most likely that Real want to be sure to collect any surplus transfer fees off the sale to the team De la ultimately ends up with. But cynicism aside, HE’S COMING BACK!!! HEYA!!!

Well its been reported that Real bought him back on Schuster request, and that him leaving was a master plan by Schuster, who knew he would get more time at Getafe then Real to let him develop. If this is true, he wont be traded in for anything, he will be competitin for a first team spot next year!

I know we’re talking about something else here, but what’s the deal with Amauri?! €26million for a striker who managed to score only 17 goals while playing for 3 years (= 90 matches) at Chievo?
Hope this will turn up to be only a rumour. Jesus Christ! WTF?!?!Posted from

No its fine Radu. I have seen Amauri rumors to Real before and I ignore them because they are ludacrous. Amauri is a decent player, good for Palermo. But he certaintly isnt worth the price the transfer rags have put on him, and I doubt clubs like Juve (Trez and Iqiuanta) or Milan (Gilardino and Inzaghi) need a plyer of his type for that price.

on de la red: We can’t loose. It’ no secret that shuster has been looking for more creativity from the centre of the pitch. At the very least perhaps de la red will put the wind up the likes of guti and gago.
If not then I think de la red will go for a profit.
Incidentally, I’d really like to see Granero come back and have a go too.Not really seen Amauri play, so not going to comment.
