Crespo is currently our best option, He's cheap, proven, reliable, he will be offered a 6 month contract, If he plays more than the required 20 matches he will be offered a one year option. We can't go wrong with that.
----------
Right now i would much perfer if we sign a right winger, were down to one winger Drenthe, and we have currently lacked the creativity and Width and Ramos needs the support out there, although I would much perfer if he played as a CB and we purchase someone like Dani Alves, who can solve the creativity issue, the Ramos issue and the width issue.

p.s. Our fetish with these Dutch player are getting out of hand, we've spent over 120ME and not one star just specsilists and experts. Luckely Higauin stepped up and filled the void of Robinho, Or we would be Real(-ly screwed) Madrid.

Villa in january = impossible , tevez = cup tied , benzema = impossible as well milito I don't thin k will be moving either and adriano as madridista mac pointed it out will be prolly be another ronaldo so the best move we could make is buy someone from south america ( falcao maybe ) like we did with marcelo , gago and higuain 2 years ago

Also we need a right winger word is that elano is unhappy at city maybe we should move for him he can play as a right winger ( very good at it ) and a 10

Does anyone think that Saviola hasn't really had a chance to make a go of it at Madrid?

Villa is great, but it's impossible to get him. our biggest mistake(i think), we should singed him before EURO.
Benzema is not possible now but he'll be available at the end of the season. and all European biggest clubs are going for him. Hope we can get him.
Tevez, surely Fergie won't allow him to move on winter break whether he'll sign him or not.
I prefer a young bright prospect(maybe from S.America) like when we signed Higuain. but it takes time and we need s1 now.

Corey - "some assemblence of goal scoring shape"? what exactly are you expecting from Raul - a hatrick every game? Raul so far has a great score record this season and last - 8 so far.
I really don't understand why people want to shit on one of the best and most dedicated players we have. This guy scores more than Robinho ever did at Real and Man City, yet people miss Robinho.

Surprized no one has mentioned Villa, Benzema or Tevez as they all in the frame for the job and are top of my list. They have more pace and versatility than Huntlaar (although not as good in the air). Villa would be hardest to sign admittedly. Ashavin would be great, but I don't see him as a centre forward.
Owen would be a nightmare come true - we would be a laughing stock - he's already a national joke.

My preference would be Villa, Tevez then Benzema

As someone who has seen every home match that Adriano has played over the last 3 seasons, I have to say that is a very accurate description of the potential risks and rewards.

A part exchange deal is very unlikely to tempt Genoa. Milito is an absolute hero there and the only way that management could try to deflect the firestorm of criticism a sale would engender would be to note that they got enough cash to rebuild the other parts of the team.

Genoa haven't done much in the last 25 years, but they are still far from a small club in terms of support or financial resources. Milito is not going to be at all easy to get (though it would be easier for them to sell him to a non-Italian club, just as that is reportedly one of the conditions being applied to any sale of Adriano).

Adriano will be like the ugly last days of R9. He hasn't sorted himself out yet and can be a poison to the dressing room with his drinking and partying. He's a big risk, the payoff would be incredible though if we manage to land a sorted out Adriano... but I find it unlikely.

Someone at Marca suggested Michael Owen (believe it or not)... I'm sort of going 'why not?' given his strike rate when he was with us. But he's already injury prone. Plus, will he even wanna come back?

As for Milito's price, perhaps RM can use Saviola as bait in a part exchange deal? Then they can promote Alberto Bueno from Castilla to a bench role.

Milito is the early favourite here in Italy (Cruz isn't going anywhere), but the thought is that Genoa will hold up Madrid for all the cash they have, as it is obvious that the Merengues are desperate.

Crespo is definitely available, but he is a very different player than RvN.

Have you considered Adriano?
