Baptista is an excellent, excellent player. He has good pace, is great at playing the ball forward and is a serious threat on goal from distance. Great eye for goal in general. However, despite his size, he tends to have trouble keeping posession, and tends to be a bit inconsistant. He’s going to be a great addition to any side he joins, but at present, with all the competition for spots in the midfield, he won’t see much playing time at Madrid. He deserves to be a starter, which is why he’ll probably leave, and I think I speak for most Madridista’s in saying he’ll be missed.
