and as for comparisons between barcelona’s tradition and philisophy to madrid’s – our notion is to be the best, to have the best players from spain and from the rest of the world. sure, our cantera hasn’t produced a whole lot in comparison to yours over the last few years, but over decades we’ve had the much greater players come through our ranks.

Mku and we haven’t raised any players in the past huh what about players like casillas , raul , guti , de la red , parejo , javi garcia , torres palanca all in the madrid team last season
And if you really look at it you bought messi when he was what ? 14 or 15 ? So he wa s already half made , you do buy players too you just do it when they’re a little younger

there is no way that anyone makes a winner team in one summer, no matter how much money the banks gave him. The teams should teach the kids some values like effort and long term achievements, madrid is just about the money. It took 10 years for xavi and iniesta to play like they are doing now…. We raised them, madrid just buys established players… that makes me sick and makes my “barcelonismo” greater.

We have our own zidane, iniesta and we didn’t buy him when he was established and everyone knew him. We have our own Cr9, messi… idem. We raise them and educate them in our game philosophy, you buy them when everyone know who they are, no risk at all.

what a brainwash this summer has been for all madrid fans… yesterday with the ronaldo presentation was totally surreal. they haven’t won ANYTHING and they feel like the kings of the world… to be fair with reality, FCB is the king of the world. triplete winners period.

It’s only nice to support madrid during the summer, the rest of the year is ours for sure. they go to the field to see a male model lying and saying “hala madrid” and we go to see our homebred youngsters playing art football. there is such a big difference between those who love the game and those who love the money, all madrikitas buying t-shirts as if they were sheep and they haven’t seen a single game yet. florentino is playing with their minds and that is very sad.

Well, to be honest, i can only see this team working on a 4-4-2 basis. This is how it will go:

iker
Ramos-pepe-albiol-marcelo/heinze
L.diarra/M.diarra-Gago/shneider
CR9 kaka
higuain/raul- benzema

i think we should play M. diarra against more physical teams although not many in LA Liga. I also believe that shneider is a keeper as he can provide the holding role in midfld and pass the ball well for the players upfront. He is one of the most versatile players in the game and could be used well in case of injury. higuain is also versatile as he can play as a right winger (something he tried to do this year) and would be cover for ronaldo if he gets injured. VDV could be cover for kaka on the left. Sell robben as he had a good season this year and could be sold for a good price. Ruud should leave too. It seems that hunter is on his way out too. What happens now, is negredo our backup striker?
The main problem i see is the left back position, as i believe that all the players we have are below par and shouldn’t play in a top four team. Marcelo is good attacking but is scary when it comes to defense, especially in a team that is suppose to be soo offensive next year.

i think we should put some money in a solid left back. Sell heinze for sure. Sell salgado too. Give a contera a chance to be backup for ramos. Why don’t we think of porto’s left back? He should be cheaper now with all his problems with milan…
