Watching Real Madrid on the intarweb

By: Steve | September 18th, 2008

Hala Madrid! Hey folks, I thought this would be a good post to put up, not just for our fans overseas, but also those around Europe who might not get the special satellite TV packages you need to watch our beloved Blancos.

Here’s a list of websites that host or link to live streams of Real Madrid’s matches. I’ll try to keep this updated, so feel free to list other websites in the comments. Your contributions will be duly noted.

LiveFooty – from Corey
RojaDirecta – from Cesar
MyP2P – from Cesar
ESPN360 – from Corey

According to Cesar, the most reliable players are Sopcast (download here), TVU Player (download here), and TV Ants which we do not recommend because of all the associated spyware (download here).

This is a stern warning to all readers. I do not, in any way shape or form, condone the illegal broadcasting of football matches across these P2P streams (if they are in fact illegal in your country of residence). I also warn you that these programs are not safe from spyware, adware, malware, viruses etc. So use at your own risk.

Good luck!

VLC is great for watching videos, but it does not link up well to streams unfortantely, its only draw back.

Yeah, I totally forgot about VLC, sometimes when you use Sopcast, you’ll have to open the stream on VLC; on rojadirecta.com they tell you if you have to do this…

Corey, ESPN360 doesn’t work in Europe, you have to be in the US
